青年朋友们，同志们：
　　今天是五四青年节，是属于青春的日子。很高兴能和广大青年朋友们一起度过这个值得纪念的节日。首先，我代表团市委、市青工委向与会的优秀青年，并通过你们，向全市所有的青年朋友们致以亲切的节日问候和热烈的节日祝贺！向在百忙之中前来参加会议的市委、市政府领导表示衷心地感谢！
　　95年前的今天，广大知识青年为反抗帝国主义和封建主义的官僚统治，示威游行，请愿，罢课，罢工，他们宣传新民主，弘扬新科学，促进了马克思主义在中国的传播，从而在思想上、干部上为中国共产党的建立奠定了良好的基础。
　　今天，我市广大优秀青年聚集在这里，就是要继承五四精神，发扬光荣传统。时刻以国家民族利益为重，把五四精神贯穿于我们学习和工作的始终。
　　毛主席说，青年人朝气蓬勃，好像早晨八九点钟的太阳，希望寄托在你们身上。是的，青年强则国强。青年一代如果有责任，有担当，我们的国家就会有前途，我们的民族就会有希望，我们实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦就有了源源不断的强大力量。
　　今天，我们就要在这里表彰一批在学习和工作中做出突出贡献的优秀青年。他们与祖国同奋进，与时代齐发展。在他们身上，我们看到了当代青年报效祖国的远大志向，看到了他们朝气蓬勃的精神风貌，看到了他们自强不息的意志品格，也看到了他们甘于奉献的思想境界。他们是新时代当之无愧的优秀青年。
