各位领导、同志们：
　　这次经同志们推荐，**市委决定提名我到政府工作，我衷心感谢上级党组织的培养、信任和全市广大干部群众的重托，既深感担子很沉，压力很大，责任重大，又充满必胜信心。虽然来**之前曾多年在政府机关工作，也曾具体从事和分管过经济领域的工作，来**后又参与了经济社会发展的许多重大决策，但面对变化了的新角色和新任务，面对上级的要求和兄弟县市区大干快上的逼人形势，面对全市人民迫切需要加快发展的强烈愿望，面对市委未来新的决策和部署，如何在已有的好基础上开创政府各项工作的新局面，成为摆在我面前的一项神圣使命、一项崇高责任。使我充满信心的是，有历届市委、市政府班子特别是**同志任市委书记期间打下的好底子，有以**同志为首的市委的正确领导，有市人大、市政协和社会各界的关心、支持，有一支特别能吃苦、特别能战斗的高素质的干部队伍作后盾，我们有条件、有理由、有把握领导今后的政府工作继续沿着积极、健康、快速的轨道向前迈进。
　　我将尽心尽力地履行好工作职责，谦虚谨慎，廉洁务实，沉下心来干事，扑下身子创业，扎下根来奉献，团结带领市政府一班人，忠于职守，勤奋敬业，不畏艰险，大胆开拓，自觉接受市委的领导，维护市委的权威，全面落实市委关于经济发展和社会稳定的各项决策部署，主动接受市人大、市政协的监督，积极搞好与市检察院、法院的协调配合，着力推进科学执政、民主执政、依法执政，重视解决群众关注的突出矛盾和问题，努力建设亲民、务实、廉洁、高效、透明、诚信的服务型、学习型政府，务求以扎扎实实的工作作风和实实在在的工作成效，回报上级党组织的培养，回报老领导、老同志的重托，回报全市干部群众的厚望！
