  三、教学目标
  1.学生能复习巩固前面出现的日常活动短语及时间数字表达法,在此基础上,学习并掌握有关介词past和to的时间文字表达法和更多日常短语如:do homework ,eat lunch, eat dinner,go to bed, clean my room,take a walk, go home等。
  2.学生能听懂谈论日常生活活动作息安排的对话,并在听的过程中学会有目的地获取有效信息。
  3.学生能灵活运用目标句型 what time/When do you.....?对日常作息时间进行询问和表达,从而养成良好的作息习惯。
  四、教学重难点
  重点:掌握本节课所学的一些日常活动的表达方式。通过听、说、读的训练来提高学生们综合运用英语的能力。
  难点:用past和to表达具体时刻。

  Step1:Lead-in
  Show a moving clock to revise the times.
  Step2: Presentation
  1.Present half,quarter,past,to,in the morning(a.m.), in the afternoon(p.m.), in the evening(p.m.)
  2.Practice: use clock to practice the new way of times. Teacher and students do the exercise together.
  What time is it?=What’s the time?
  It’s eight twenty= It’s twenty past eight.
  It’s eight thirty=It’s half past eight.
  It’s eight forty=It’s forty to eight.
  It’s eight forty-five=It’s a quarter to nine.
  3.Discuss in groups to draw a conclusion.
  7:00   seven/seven o’clock
  7:05   seven five/five past seven
  7:15   seven fifteen/a quarter past seven
  7:30   seven thirty/ half past seven
  7:45   seven forty-five/ a quarter to eight
  8:50   eight fifty/ ten to nine
  Conclusion1:英文时间顺度法。用数词先说“时”,再说“分”。eg. 6:30 six thirty ;  9:10 nine ten.
  Conclusion2:英文时间逆读法。先说“分”,再说“时”,中间加介词past(半点和半点以内,表示“过”)和to (半点以上,表示“差”)。Eg. 六点过十分(6:10)ten past six; 十点半(10:30) half past ten
  十一点差一刻(10:45)a quarter to eleven.
  Conversation 3: 表示整点的英文时间逆读法要加o’clock。
  4.Answer-question game
  Ask students to say 9:30/10:15/11:45 in English by using two methods  as quickly as possible.

  1.Ask the students to learn the new phrases: do homework, eat dinner,go to bed.
  2.Ask the students to read them.
  3.When do students usually do these things?Match the activities with the time of the day.
